I have been drawing this pattern on my notebooks since I was in school. I didn’t really know that this pattern was an actual thing. It is called a Mystic rose.
I came across a tutorial on Youtube which showed me how to go about constructing one in Inkscape. Inkscape is a free, open-source, cross-platform vector editing program.
Even though the end result is complex, the method to construct this is fairly straightforward. Before I made the final version, I tried my hand at making a simpler one.
