I recently purchased Affinity Designer after doing some research. A lot of people on the internet think that it walks the line between a Pro and Beginner level tool quite well. As someone who dabbles in this as a hobby, I think paying monthly subscriptions is a horrible idea (looking at you, Adobe!). Affinity doesn’t have subscriptions so it became the obvious choice.
I wanted to create something simple in order to learn it. So I decided to create a minimal landscape, the sun shining over the sea. I am sure this piece could use more detail but I am not really confident adding that in at this point.
